The price was very good for the location if you're interested in visiting Kabukichō but worried about being too close. The walk to Shinjuku station is about 10 minutes and is very straightforward. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff are really polite, patient, and helpful. The beds, living space, showers, and bathrooms, were all maintained well. The breakfast (~6 USD for me) was very good, and there's also a Lawson around the corner, so morning food is easy to get. They have a decent selection of morning drinks like Coffee and Tea. The breakfast cycles between a Chicken Basil Sandwich and a Ham and Cheese Sandwich, the sides are always broccoli and yogurt with your choice of juice (Orange & Apple) Solo travelers will be satisfied! I made friends with people both in my shared room as well in the common space, there's also beer served in the common space at night so share a drink with some friends before venturing into Kabukichō!

It's a hostel. Please remember that it is a hostel. It does it's best and it was really comfortable when I walked in at 2 AM to wake up at 7 AM and leave to explore. I got what I needed out of it especially because I arrived really late in the day to check-in. I was overall impressed because I never felt like I was in danger or like anything could go wrong. I paid for a place to nap, shower, and use the toilet and this was it. A quick shout out to the way they planned the rooms because out of 8 bunks, there were only four girls in my room. It made the experience really comfortable and sweet.

Really good location - felt safe as a solo female taveller. I was never out late thought, so dont know how its like during late evening/ night. i recommend reading up on the Kabukicho area before going, if you dont want to go there its easy to stay away. If you are i female i would 100% recommend the female only doorms, they had an entire floor for female only, which were so much nicer and smelled much better than the mixed gender dorm floor. I really liked the bed, as opposite to other reviews. also good ventilation we were only between 1-3 on the 6 persons doorm, but the room was spaceous.

Staff were great - super friendly and gave me awesome advice for places to visit. The included breakfast was good, a toasted panini and bowl of yoghurt / muesli. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The common space offers a microwave and small fridge for communal use as well. The location is great and super accessible, plus the business of the area meant I never felt sketchy at night time - the hostel is easy to find and well signposted as well, and traffic noise etc. was never an issue.

Perfect location, 10 mins walk to Shinjuku station and a 7/11 just down the road. A great price for being so central. Very clean rooms and shared spaces with all the amenities you may need. It was very quiet when I stayed, there was max 3 people in my 6 bed dorm across my entire stay so it was very easy to sleep with no disturbance. Friendly staff who are more than happy to help with any questions you may have. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will return if I’m ever visiting Tokyo.
